The 1st of Many!
I practice meditation, love simplicity, and have a passion to make people strong. I continually educate myself in my field; health, fitness, wellness, strength & conditioning, and any other life-enhancing term you’d like to include with the bunch.
I enjoy life in general. I’m an optimist. I love to learn new things, which is actually why I decided to start this blog.
I’ve been a trainer now for almost 7 years. I’ve learned from world-class instructors, worked with professional athlete’s, and turned back the clock on people well into their 60’s. But I didn’t enter this field with as much knowledge as I have now, no not at all!
For some time now I began to realize that the mass of knowledge I’ve acquired over the years is really quite powerful. As I said, I change people’s lives for a living. That’s something I stand firm on and feel confident in my abilities to do so.
While I enjoy working with the people I work with, I do feel that there’s more I can do, more people I can connect with and more lives I can change.

When you’re in the fitness industry, you’re really embarking on a lifelong journey. I used to think that at some point I would take all the necessary continuing education courses I need and “make it to the top”.
Over the years I’ve learned that there is in fact no “top” when it comes to acquiring knowledge.
There are endless paths of education one can take in the fitness industry, each leading to another door with more opportunities, more connections, and more education to share with people such as yourself. The fitness industry changes by the month it seems. Failing to stay on top of the game leaves you literally years behind your peers.
To keep my training game on point and give my clients the best possible service, I read books, watch DVD’s, attend seminars, hire coaches/mentors, purchase programs, try new exercises, and network with other professionals in my field. In addition I get to practice my new knowledge on the people I work with day-in and day-out.
If you’re a personal trainer, strength coach, or in any other fitness-related field, think of this blog as a condensed version of CEU’s. If you’re a weekend warrior, use this blog to help you get more out of your workouts. Maybe you’re an avid gym-goer and are looking for ways to change-up your routine or maybe you’re even knew to fitness completely.
My goal is to connect with more people and change more lives.
No matter where you fall on this list I can promise that each and all will learn a thing or two every week in reading this blog. As I learn new things I’m merely going to pass my new knowledge along to you in hopes that you too can reach your goals.
If you live in the Chicago area and would like to personally work with me, you can contact me through my website.
Occasionally I take a ginger, lemon, and cayenne pepper shot in the morning prior to having my bulletproof coffee. One’s for me, and the others for you…here’s to getting the most out of life and enjoying the ride!
